A playlist. Describe a moment, a mood or a memory, and Mixtape picks the songs, names it and gives it its own cover.

A tape lets you keep a mixtape. Each one saves one mixtape as a playlist in your Apple Music library. Making and remaking mixtapes is free and unlimited, so you only use a tape on the ones you keep. Tapes never expire.

Yes. Mixtape picks songs from your Apple Music taste and saves playlists to your library, so it needs Apple Music access and an active Apple Music subscription. Mixtape doesn't play music itself: your saved playlists play in the Music app.

Open the Settings app, scroll to Mixtape, and turn on Media & Apple Music. Then return to Mixtape.

Your tapes are tied to your App Store account and come back automatically. If they don't, open Tapes and tap Restore Purchases, or email support.

Saved mixtapes are playlists in your Apple Music library. Mixtape also keeps them on your iPhone and in your private iCloud, so they appear on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

It can take a moment to appear. Check that you're signed in to Apple Music and that iCloud Music Library (Sync Library) is on in Settings, under Music.

Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

In Mixtape, open Settings and tap Delete My Data. You can also email support with your Support ID (copy it in Settings). Delete mixtapes in the app to remove them from iCloud.
