Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Mixtape. By using the app you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

What Mixtape does

Mixtape makes playlists, called mixtapes, from your descriptions and saves them to your Apple Music library. Saving and playing music needs an active Apple Music subscription, which is sold by Apple, not by Mixtape.

Tapes

Each tape saves one mixtape as a playlist in your Apple Music library. Making and remaking mixtapes does not use tapes.
New users receive a small number of tapes to start.
Tapes are one-time purchases, not a subscription. They never expire.
Tapes have no cash value, can't be transferred, and are for use in Mixtape only.
A tape is used only after a mixtape is successfully saved to Apple Music.
Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Fair use

Please use Mixtape for your own listening. Don't try to break, overload, or copy the service, get around its limits, or use it to make anything unlawful or harmful. Mixtape may limit or stop access for misuse.

Music and content

Songs, artwork and artist names belong to their owners and come from Apple Music. Mixtape chooses and arranges songs, but doesn't own or host music. Apple Music is a trademark of Apple Inc. Mixtape is not made by or affiliated with Apple.

Availability

Mixtape aims to run well at all times, but can't promise it will always be available or error free. Features may change over time.

Liability

Mixtape is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Mixtape isn't liable for indirect or incidental losses from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date above will change, and important changes will be shown in the app.
